Hey you!

you know that I love taking pictures.

You know that I’m a fan of being best friends with everyone i meet, and that there’s a good chance we’ll be best friends, too.

Now, let’s get down to the nitty gritty.

  1. I love crocs. Yes, you read that right. they’re comfy, convenient, and just part of who i am. don’t knock ‘em til ya tried ‘em.

  2. I have a corgi dog named Comet and a wonderful fiancé (!!!) named Christopher, and our sweet lil family lives in Denton, TX.

  3. I really like running, but because I really like eating, I must cope with the fact that I must also really like running slooooowly.

  4. I’m having a big home decorating moment right now. Like, go to TJ Maxx every week and watch Fixer Upper all the time kinda moment. I firmly stick to the belief that your atmosphere can make your mood!

  5. My mom is one of my best friends. You should meet her sometime, Mildred freakin’ rocks.

  6. You can almost always catch me wearing stripes. Classic and cool if ya ask me.

  7. Chick-fil-A smacks. Let’s have our consult there, yeah?

  8. I love a good road trip, a good sunset, and a good nap.

  9. I’m a 2w3 on the Enneagram. If you’re into that kinda thing, let’s go back to Chick-fil-A and chat about it for hours.

  10. I could spend all day scrolling through Pinterest. Home decor, recipes, puppies, they’ve got it all.

I’ve been taking photos of amazing people since I was 15, and turning Allie Farmer Photography from a pastime into a business in April of 2016 was one of the most life changing decisions I’ve ever made. Getting to spend time with people, capture them in some of the most important moments of their lives, and give them mementos that will last them a lifetime (and getting to do all that for a JOB nonetheless) is the most amazing blessing I could have dreamed up.

I wanna know you. And I wanna know your story. So if you want to capture this messy and beautiful and imperfectly perfect life, let’s meet. Yeah?

Allie is a flexible photographer truly willing to work FOR you, as well as with you. She was able to take photos at the rehearsal dinner as well as the entire wedding day. I really enjoyed her being able to be at the rehearsal so that she got a glimpse of the “important” people before the big day, and got to know their relation. The day of, Allie arrived with such a refreshing attitude considering the chaos and nerves I was feeling. Her body language reminded me to relax and have fun- just enjoy the day! She instantly bonded with my various family members and even cracked jokes with us. It meant a lot that everyone present felt comfortable with her being there, and of course helped the photos look more natural and “in-the-moment.” She helped keep things on track as well, and was great at being self motivated, knowing the bride was obviously scattered brained. I honestly wasn’t thinking at all about which pictures I wanted to get before the ceremony, but she managed to take them all including ones I hadn’t thought about! She made the getting ready process easy. She is great at boosting your self-confidence with her compliments too! During the ceremony, she caught all the important pictures without me ever realizing she was there- this was great because I was able to stay in the moment. For our couple portraits right after the ceremony, she already had ideas of poses and where saying she had “scoped” the area the day before. She is kid friendly, parent friendly, dance friendly, and most importantly your friend! Allie made our wedding day a breeze. I appreciate her fun, focused, and self-driven work. Worth every penny!”

“Allie is a talented young lady who helped us in a bind with less than 24 hours notice. She genuinely cares about people and is able to capture that emotional and meaningful moment. It was a blessing that she was able to step in when we had to move my son’s wedding to the hospital while my husband was sick and our scheduled photographer couldn’t make it. It all worked out for the best because she was wonderful!”
— Jess, Mother of the Groom
“Allie is such an amazing up-and-coming artist! Her eye for detail is just incredible and she has the outstanding ability to capture not just an image, but a feeling. I’ve seen this girl in action on multiple occasions and she puts her heart and soul into everything that she does. If you are in the DFW area and need pictures, she’s your girl!”
