Your friend, Allie
My philosophy
It’s probably different than what you’re used to in the wedding photography world. I want to help you see the beauty in yourself as you are, right now, not after “sweating for the wedding”, not after Photoshop, but here and now.
You’ve been told a lot of things that you have to do for your wedding. I’ve been told a lot of things I have to shoot at your wedding. How about we meet in the middle, agree to let all of that go, and narrow down the things that truly matter to you?
I won’t ask you for a shot list, but I will capture every small, intentional detail that I know you’ve carefully curated for your day. I might not ask you for a list of your required formal family photos, but I will get to know you well enough before the big day that I have a full understanding of which people and moments you want to be captured most.
I may not spend hours of your day designing a flat lay of your details, because I will be spending that time instead capturing you and your excitement while getting ready with your favorite people for the happiest day of your life.
I’m dedicated to creating a culture where mistakes happen, and they’re allowed. Something goes wrong on your big day? That’ll happen. But it’ll be a great story (and photo!), and at the end of your day, if you’re married, that’s all that matters.
All I will ask of you is that you trust me. I won’t miss a moment of your day, because I know the joy that your wedding day carries and the work that you’ve put into preparing for it.
I’ve been taking photos of people since I was 8 at a summer camp, and turning Allie Farmer Photography from a past-time hobby into a business in April of 2016 - which was the best decision I’ve ever made!
I wanna know you, and I wanna know your story. So if you want to capture this glorious, messy, beautiful life, let’s meet!
